Denver Museum of Miniatures

The Platte Valley & Western Railway Club is located at the Denver Museum of Miniatures in Lakewood, Colorado, where we design and operate our HO scale layout reflecting Denver's train travel from the 1950's to the present day with both Steam and Diesel locomotives.

About the Denver Museum of Miniatures - The mission of the Denver Museum of Miniatures is to provide educational and cultural services through the preservation, exhibition, collection and interpretation of the visual arts using miniatures. The DMMDT is so much more than just static miniatures. It also houses the dynamic PVWRR where one can see HO Scale model trains running. It is an opportunity to share and make memories with family and friends. It is a venue for collectors to share and explore their passion. It is a sanctuary where the unique is celebrated. And finally, it is a place of learning where history and art meet humanity. The Denver Museum of Miniatures has been entrusted with preserving Colorado's childhood and we intend to do just that for generations to come.
